They consist of classically trained singers, Alan Beck, Jamie MacDougall and Ivan Sharpe, and their musical director and accompanist, Michael Barnett. Many countries now have their own three tenors, but very few have the depth of profoundly beautiful and stirring material available to them that is Scots song.";

	var caledonText2 = "The tenors have shot to fame in the last few months with their new upbeat version of Flower of Scotland which rocked Scotland’s National Stadium, Hampden Park, prior to the Scotland v Germany football match in June and wowed the 60,000 crowd closing the 2003 festival T in the Park last month. In short, let loose on contemporary Scottish music, Caledon bring their operatic power and class to bear in a way that is nothing short of thrilling!";

	var caledonText3 = "Whilst being Scotland’s most successful young tenors, with a wealth of solo operatic and concert experience between them, (performed in some of the world’s most prestigious opera houses), as a trio, this year alone, they have performed to sell-out audiences at prestigious events such as The Edinburgh International Festival and The New York Tartan Day celebrations, given many concerts on both side of the Atlantic and made television appearances for the BBC, Tartan TV in the USA and Israeli TV.";

	var caledonText4 = "The group has also made numerous radio broadcasts, most recently starring in the St. Andrew’s Night special for BBC Radio Scotland. The future promises to be even busier with performances at the 2003 Miss Scotland pageant, the Scotland Soccer and Rugby matches, and a 60min. TV special for PBS in the USA as well as concerts in Washington DC, Detroit, Chicago, Windsor, Ontario, Belfast, Glasgow, Inverness and Aberdeen.";

	var caledonText5 = "Universal Records have recently licensed Caledon’s version of Flower of Scotland for inclusion on the official Rugby World Cup 2003 CD, alongside the likes of Shirley Bassey, Bryn Terfel and Russell Watson, and have rush-released their debut single I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles) / Caledonia (which they performed on BBC’s Children in Need) due to popular demand.";

	var caledonText6 = "Joining them on the single are ex-Simple Minds members Mick MacNeil (keyboards) and Derek Forbes (bass) along with Deacon Blue’s Dougie Vipond (drums) — a recording not to be missed! ";
